Nytt svar om Lantchipsen med dill och gräslök

Dear Katharina,

We are indeed discussing the possibility to change to sunflower or rapeseed oil in the future. There are several advantages and disadvantages to all of them. For now, the palm oil is the most stable oil to work with: there are few harmful oxidation products that appear during the production process. Sunflower oil of course has a very good image, but when using it in our production process it also has some disadvantages.
With regard to the environment, our palm oil comes from a supplier who is a member of the Round Table for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). So the oil is coming from a sustainable source, no rainforest is damaged for its production. The oil is not organic for this product.

It is good to hear you were a fan of the horseradish chips! Unfortunately they did not sell well enough to keep, but I will try to see if we can relaunch them in the future, since they are a favorite of mine too! Did you try our newest member of the LantChips family yet? Svartpeppar & Dill, very good as well!

Best regards,
Marleen van der Wende

Jättebra att även Lantchips använder olja som inte kommer från områden med skövlad regnskog, men återigen synd att de inte informerar om det. Jag föreslog för övrigt att de skulle skriva det på påsarna när jag tackade för svaret.
